One
of the two remaining full service restaurants left in the park, The Blue
Bayou boasts a wonderful lunch and dinner menu. The restaurant is located
inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, and most tables offer a great
view of the nearby Bayou. It is always nighttime here, and you can faintly hear
the sounds of the swamp critters nearby. Fireflies dance among the trees along
the shoreline. It is truly a unique experience!
Highly recommended is the Monte Cristo Sandwich for lunch. It's turkey,
ham, swiss cheese in a light flaky pastry dusted with powdered sugar and comes
with strawberry preserves. New Orleans-style gumbo, salads and entrees such as
Prime Rib also make this a great place to catch a nice quiet dinner. The
restaurant features Priority Seating, which is quite different
from
a reservation. You are seated as tables become available, and choice tables
along the shoreline may take a bit longer. Make your Priority Seating
reservation early when you arrive so you can be assured of a table during peak
periods. Be aware that a certain percentage of tables are left aside to seat
guests without reservations, but during peak periods, the wait time could be
quite long. You can use the Disney Dining kiosk in the Entry Plaza, or call
directly (714) 781-DINE
Pricing Scale: $$$$ (Expensive)
