Liberty Square
"Past this gateway stirs a new nation waiting to be born. Thirteen separate
colonies have banded together to declare their independence from the bonds of
tyranny. It is a time when silversmiths put away their tools and march to the
drums of a revolution, a time when gentlemen planters leave their farms to
become generals, a time when tradesmen leave the safety of their homes to become
heroes.
Welcome toLiberty Square!",

The Haunted Mansion,
The Hall of Presidents, and the
Liberty Belle Riverboat
(originally the Richard S. Irvine) are the main attractions in Liberty Square,
which is fashioned after colonial Williamsburg, Virginia during the
Revolutionary War. Heavily themed from locales of Walt Disney's 1957 film
Johnny Tremain, The Liberty Tree has thirteen lanterns signifying the
thirteen original colonies. Nearby a replica of the Liberty Bell adorns
the entrance to the
Hall of Presidents, which features an audio animatronics
show featuring all of the past presidents and is narrated by Maya Angelou.
