Sunshine Plaza |
Sunshine Plaza is the
gateway to the different themed areas of Disney's California Adventure.
The plaza features a large Sun icon, with a lighted fountain underneath. This area
serves as a viewing area for the parades and other special events in the park.
Sunshine Plaza is located just beyond the Main Entrance to the Park.
A replica of San Francisco's famed Golden Gate Bridge serves as a gateway into
the park, with the Disneyland monorail passing thru every few minutes. The large
murals out front capture the spirit of California, while the interior
architecture and decorating is reminiscent of many famous California locales.
Currently, you can catch Pixar Play Parade,
an innovative new parade featuring Pixar characters from The Incredibles,
Toy Story and Monsters Inc! Be aware, you might get wet
watching this parade!
