Splash Mountain takes you through the story of Brer Fox, Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear as told thru The Song of the South. Previous knowledge of the film isn't necessary to enjoy the story and characters. The climax of the attraction is the long climb up Chickapin Hill and down the waterfall, into the briar patch below. The original attraction opened at Disneyland and used characters from the defunct America Sings attraction in Tomorrowland. Walt Disney World's version of this attraction has much of the same elements, but the attraction itself is larger. Don't forget to give the camera a smile on your plunge,  your photo will be waiting for purchase immediately exiting the attraction. Many signs in the queue area say you may get wet.
