Blizzard Beach
| |
This page is currently
under construction.
Blizzard Beach is a water park at Walt Disney World. Opened April 1,
1995, the park "legend" is that a freak snowstorm hit Florida, a ski lodge
was built, the snow melted and turned into the waterslides and other
attractions in the park. With only a few exceptions, all water and pools
are heated to 80 degrees.

For most guests, simply adding a Water Parks option on to your existing
package and tickets is the best way to go, especially if you plan on
visiting both water parks. Depending on the time of the year, you will get
access to one or both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach (Typhoon Lagoon is
closed for 2 months yearly refurbishments, but Blizzard Beach will remain
open).
Single tickets to the park are $40 for children 0-8, 9-adult is $46.00

Avalunch: Snacks and Refreshments. Located near the entrance
to the Chair Lift.
Frostbite Freddies: Bar located near Snowless Joe's in the
Village.
Lottawatta Lodage: Ski-Lodge inspired outdoor counter-service
eatery.
Polar Pub: Bar located near the Wave Pool.
I.C. Expeditions: Ice cream, desserts and refreshments.
The Cooling Hut: Located in the village, offers snacks and
refreshments.
The Warming Hut: Snacks, Lunch and Dinner. Located near Downhill
Double Dipper.
Coolers are allowed in the park - no glass or alcoholic beverages
permitted.
