Walt Disney World claims adjuster embezzled $122 Thousand
Ex-Disney employee accused of stealing $122K

Investigators said a former Walt Disney worker used his position to steal the identities of park goers and rake in $122,000 in just six months. Gregory Washington worked as a claims adjuster for the company, making payouts to people who are injured on Disney property. Washington is facing 17 charges of insurance fraud and racketeering after investigators discovered he was opening up injury claims Disney already paid out and tacking on more charges.
Investigators said Washington pulled this off in three ways. They said he would add fake payouts to existing injury claim, make injuries appear more serious than they were, and then increase the payout, or he'd add more people's names to legitimate claims. The checks were then funneled to a fake billing service in Georgia. Reports show more than a dozen people were the victims of identity theft. VIDEO
