Default Bringing "Wonders" back to Epcot(Open Brainstorm)

I think we all know about how Wonders of Life was basically dismantled (not all of it but most). As a huge Advocate for Epcot, I think Wonders of Life should have a another chance before being totally torn down. Now or just a bit of back round: The Wonders of Life pavilion was an attraction at Epcot at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The pavilion was devoted to health and body related attractions. It is located inside a golden colored dome between Mission: SPACE and the Universe of Energy. The pavilion officially opened on October 19th, 1989, and closed on January 1, 2007, and although the space is sometimes used for special events, the attractions within have been closed and partially removed. Some Attractions were:

Cranium Command - A theater show with audio-animatronic actors and a movie. The show explained the functions of the human brain and its interaction with the human body.

Frontiers - Listen to stories about medicine and the brain on small televisions.

Body Wars - Epcot's first thrill ride, a motion simulator ride taking guests on a Fantastic Voyage-like trip through the blood stream. 40 passengers could be accommodated in one of four, 26-ton simulators.

Goofy About Health - A multimedia show about healthy living hosted by Goofy, using clips from his cartoons.

    Sensory Funhouse - Interactive playground

The Making of Me - Short movie about birth and life starring Martin Short.

Now these attractions I want to Revamp and make a bit more 2012. But I sure could use some help with the pavilion and new ideas for attractions.

I believe that Cranium Command should make a return but in a much more high tech way (HD screens, Buzzy has more movement, Moving seats, In theater effects, etc...) Also keep the storyline but change it to reflect the new times. ( Might write up a script later...)

I think R. Lee Ermey should do General Knowledge's part instead of Corey Burton.
"Walt Disney World is a tribute to the philosophy and life of Walter Elias Disney... and to the talents, the dedication, and the loyalty of the entire Disney organization that made Walt Disney's dream come true. May Walt Disney World bring Joy and Inspiration and New Knowledge to all who come to this happy place ... a Magic Kingdom where the young at heart of all ages can laugh and play and learn — together."

Well for Cranium Command I wanted to make the animatronics a bit more up to date, not only that but the show well be updated so that it can be easily adapted when new break through in medicine occurs also we need to bring back the wonder waffles XD. Plus Body War shall be renamed : Body Wars: When Diseases/Viruses attack, Now in the show shall be random with a new disease each time, some times it might be mild other times it could be dangerous Cancer

Jaalin, I am with you for bringing Wonders back to Epcot, and I also like the ideas. Speaking of which, some of mine were documented on my main blog. Earlier I have conducted a study on visitors to the pavilion and the results are visible over on the "What's Next for WoL" survey results page.
Apparently, a few ideas might be to consider utilizing the tech behind Sum of all Thrills as documented in a few of my blog posts... found it: WOL4EVA, Possibilities: Running through Veins and Arteries. I'm sure you'll find it a great read.

I see that you have a love deep for Wonders like I have a deep love for horizons, welcome aboard. I see what your saying about how wonders is more covered, I think there trying to cover it so nobody try's to get to it. Also I've been thinking to bring back the peanut characters to make it more kids friendly(Because some stuff in Wonders could make a kid throw chunks) I also think we need ti get back Metlife and secure them just like GM with WOM, TT, and Simcar. And we could get sponsors for rides

Thanx Jaalin. Let's start off with a prime top favorite, Cranium Command, as StarWarsGeek mentioned... the moving seats idea, like it's done in the Magic Eye theater, it could work. It would definitely convince the audience that we're inside not just a sitting still body (just imagine the slight jerking whenever your selected host body is walking forward and you might get the idea. A sudden jolt on a jump or a bump?) As with the Buzzy AA, sometimes it be wise to give him the level of interactivity he deserves... I mean, retool him with the tech of the Autonomotronics (Otto from the Anaheim D23 show anyone?), get him to check out the audience for a while before getting to the actual show. Sure I could go on and on, but thanks to some of us sharing the same ideas, I'm just asking you guys what you think of this take on the show.

    Anyone?

Come on, buds, don't be shy.

Well Buzzy could be like potato head at MGM. He can tell jokes and comment on guest close. Also maybe in the revamped version the 12 year old kid has a son and that's who you experience

Also I was reading this article and I mean we need to make Wonders more updated to the twenty first century

Yes, Also the whole theater needs to be gutted since if you have seen pictures of what it looks like... well... its a trash dump. So we would replace the seats, replace the screens with HD screens New Automotronic New film, Replace and add in theater effects.

P.S I think the whole pavilion, outside and in should be gutted since it reeks of the late 80s...

Yes, First I say we repaint the dome white and add glass above it to give the illusion of a Glass roof.

All right then, but to kick it off, we would definitely need more than just sketches. Though the skylights and glass roof add on sounds brilliant... :3
