    Woman sues Disneyland Darth Vader

    Disneyland and AIDS charity sued
Darth Vader swings at angry bird but hits lady

    OC Weekly
A woman is suing Disneyland and the AIDS Services Foundation of Orange County in Superior Court because she claims her back was injured by a Disney employee dressed as Darth Vader and doing battle with a bird during the 2011 AIDS Walk Orange County at the Anaheim resort. Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Park, Disney Worldwide Services Inc. and AIDS Services Foundation of Orange County, are defendants in the lawsuit that seeks more than $25,000 for medical expenses.

"A Disneyland employee dressed up as Darth Vader was standing next to plaintiff and attempted to 'shoo' a bird away by swinging his right arm," reads the lawsuit filed by Huntington Beach attorney Timothy Ryan on behalf of Lauren Ulrich. "Upon doing so, he hit plaintiff in the back, causing her severe injuries."

The 25th annual AIDS Walk Orange County was held May 1, 2011, at the Happiest Legal Battleground on Earth.

Lord Vader finds the lack of faith in his bird-fighting abilities disturbing.

I don't normally respond to these threads. I'm not saying the woman could have or have not been hurt, but sometimes these lawsuits seem outrageous. Wow!

If you'll excuse me, I need to bang my head against the wall until I forget this case.

    Severe injuries? Yeah, right.

If he'd used his lightsaber, there might have been severe injuries.
I keep wishing it could be that way, because my world would be a Wonderland.

Maybe Darth needs to return and use Force Lightning to give her some electro-shock therapy now. And now to use the the song from Winnie the Pooh about rain with this....

And the pain, pain, pain came down, down down, upon Lord Vader's victims........

This is just plain dumb. It was an accidental hit on the back. It reads to be that the hit was unintentional. I'm guessing that during these economic times, its anything for money.
I wonder what's gonna be next: maybe a parent suing Mickey for sexual harassment due to hugging?

Before you know it people will need to sign contracts before going into the park that allows characters to approach them and hug them. But then there'd be that one creepy worker who uses this an advantage for sexual harassment...what is the world coming to?
    Pls.

Good for her. He probably meant to tap her with his hand while shooing away the bird. Vader's up to no good. Bad, bad, Vader.

it saddens me to hear people do this sort of thing, I find it hard to believe her back could be severely injured from a "pat" on the back.
