Lightbulb DR and MEW's Imagineering Thread

Welcome fellow VF members to a thread about what Imagineering is all about, creating new ideas and such. Now here there are no topic limits as long as they are related to Imagineering. Here you can share your ideas for improving attractions, adding new attractions, parks, and such.

The Rules for this thread are:

    1. Use any many ideas as you have
    2. No arguments on what is unique or not unique
    3. feel free to share your perspectives on what there should be
    4. Have Fun
"The way I see it. Disneyland will never be Finished. It's something we can keep developing and adding to. I've always wanted to work on something alive, something that keeps growing. We've got that in Disneyland"- Walt Disney

To add on to what DR said, this thread is basically a place to go wild with whatever you want to brainstorm. Just have fun. You can come up with park improvements, park additions, revivals of extinct attractions, refurbishments for existing attractions, new attractions, new hotels, new shops, new restaurants, new theme parks, new resorts, etc. Just be sure to have fun with it! And let's try to keep this as less controversial as possible lol. My first idea is a complete makeover for the entire Disneyland Resort. I tried making a thread dedicated to a DLR makeover before, but both attempts were unsuccessful. Hopefully this thread is successful enough to be noticed. To kick things off I'll be starting with what else but Disneyland. Enjoy...once I get around to posting it.
    Pls.

If you post your ideas here they probably won't be ignored, there already are two people looking at them.
    Pls.

This is a great idea! I never would have thought of having one thread for everything. I see myself coming back to this thread often to see all the new ideas.
"Pretty soon he would be hundreds and hundreds of miles away on the great plains and deserts, and among the mountains of the Far West, and would see buffaloes and Indians, and prairie dogs, and antelopes, and have all kinds of adventures, and may be get hanged or scalped, and have ever such a fine time, and write home and tell us all about it, and be a hero."
    - Mark Twain, jealous of his brother, who was traveling west.

I need some time to flesh out my ideas more, so I'll get around to posting eventually (Probably later today). Sometimes it's hard writing up descriptions.
    Pls.

We could do Australia Disneyland's Fantasmic mixing both Disneyland CA and Tokyo Disneysea versions of Fantasmic.

Main Street, U.S.A. kicks off the resort refurbishments with a fresh coat of paint, fresh pavement, and fresh color throughout. Quirky background music continues to cheer the air as the Dapper Dans and Main Street Marching Band continue to perform along the sidewalk. Returning to both parks are shop-specific items save for the occasional store which features a massive collage of Disney-related merchandise. The Emporium remains to be the park's counterpart to Downtown Disney's World of Disney Store, selling just about anything Disney. The window displays running along the Emporium's exterior are brand-new, featuring miniature recreations of scenes from the latest Disney (Or Pixar) movie. The Main Street Electrical Parade returns to its rightful place on Main Street, just as electrical as ever. The parade has been tuned-up and given some new changes including a giant Cheshire Cat float (Similar to the one at TDL) to replace Alice's float (Alice now sits on the cat), the Tinkerbell unit follows the Peter Pan unit, and a new Tangled unit follows the Snow White unit. The Tangled unit features what else but Rapunzel's Tower, lighting up like the night sky (Rapunzel's hair lights up as well). The parade itself is a bit more interactive with more characters, more fun, and more music.

Because all the existing shops on Main Street have a pretty obvious name for what merchandise they hold so obviously they will gain their respective items. Everything else is pretty much left in tact. A new fireworks show on the other hand brings the park to life at night: An unnamed firework spectacular. Seriously I can't think of a name for the show or a topic. I can promise that it will top Remember...Dreams Come True and bring a tear out of any Disney fan's (Or guest's) eye. It's quite the breathtaking show.

In my next post I will move on to Adventureland. Tell me what you think!
    Pls.
