The ultimate Haunted Mansion collectable?
Disneyland Haunted Mansion look-alike home for sale
Orlando Attractions Magazine
The Haunted Mansion look-alike home is for sale in Georgia. It’s a four-story, seven bedroom, six bath, more than 10,000-square-foot home modeled after Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion.
Owner and designer of the home, Mark Hurt, a Disney contractor. Hurt built the home in 1996 and added elements to replicate the attraction at Disneyland. Unlike the real Haunted Mansions at Disney parks, there aren’t 999 happy haunted living in this home. Hurt assures worried potential buyers that the house is not actually haunted as he has lived there with his wife and son for many years.
Hurt is selling the home because he has moved on to an even more ambitious project but hasn’t stopped designing and building unique Disney inspired buildings. Mark is working on his current project of a resort themed house modeled after Disney’s Grand Californian along with a replica of Walt Disney’s backyard barn and a pool that will be themed to the Jungle Cruise in Kaua‘i Hawaii. Hurt says that Walt Disney was the mentor that I had but never met.

So awesome! I'd take the one in Kauai tooLOL
Here you leave today and enter the world of Yesterday, Tomorrow, and Fantasy.
I was there July 17, 2005.![]()
I wonder if potential buyers are required to show their death certificate if they're interested in living there?
I like the bathroom video if anyone looked at it.
My only problem with it is that it's only the outside. Plus it actually looks good- Yeah, it looks too well kept. And the inside is so modern, kind of takes away from the idea of living in the Haunted Mansion. I guess the special bathroom, all the posters, and the many artifacts from Disney past are the only things that really keep the inside to match the outside.
A Jungle Cruise pool?!!!! I agree with Phineas: Shut up and take my money!! Although, he better keep those jokes changing. I don't always wanna go for a evening swim and hear the same spiel every time.
Wouldn't it be cool if it was a lazy river? And had all these speakers that read an automated spiel that would change up every so often. Like each section would have 3-5 premade joke/spiels and a computer would change them up for each person so you might never ride the same ride twice- Well, after so long.
