Annie Liebovitz' Disney Dream Portraits feature Hitchhiking Ghosts and Captain Hook

See Will Ferrell, Jason Segel, Jack Black and Russell Brand as classic Disney characters Fast Company Since 2007, Annie Liebovitz has been shooting Disney Dream Portraits, recreating famous Disney scenes using famous people. The latest entries in the series feature Will Ferrell, Jason Segel, Jack Black, and Russell Brand. The latest additions to the series surfaced online on August 2, and these are focused around some of Hollywood’s hottest jokesters. Will Ferrell, Jason Segel, and Jack Black all lend their images to a portrait of Phineas, Ezra and Gus, better known as the Hitchhiking Ghosts, who should be familiar to fans of Disney’s Haunted Mansion ride. In the second image, Russell Brand fits right into the very limber posture of Captain Hook struggling with the jaw of a hungry crocodile. I particularly like the Hitchhiking Ghosts one! Also, I've been wanting one with Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider...

I like Will Ferrell, don't get me wrong, but he's all wrong for Ezra. He has too much meat on his bones, and that hangdog espression... it just doesn't work for me. I assume he was cast just because he is tall.

I think Ben Stiller would have worked nicely. Maybe he's not quite as tall. He ridiculously skinny, has deep set eyes, a somewhat bony face and a very wide grin.
