    Phineas & Ferb — & Marvel

First Disney – Marvel Crossover Announced — And It’s Phineas and Ferb!

    Wired Magazine
Disney bought Marvel nearly three years ago. But it’s only now that true integration of Disney and Marvel has been announced, in the form of a crossover animated special starring Marvel superheroes and the characters from Phineas and Ferb.

Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel will premiere next summer on Disney Channel, and will see classic Marvel heroes Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, and Thor being transported to Phineas and Ferb‘s Danville and immobilized by, of course, one of Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s many “inators.” Consequently, Phineas and Ferb (along with their friends and Agent P, one must assume) have to find a way to help the heroes and to fight the classic Marvel villains Red Skull, Whiplash, Venom, and M.O.D.O.K., who are (of course) working with Dr. D to create mayhem and destruction.

When Disney announced the purchase of Marvel, I was one of the many who went "What?!" in utter unison with the other fans that dissaproved of the purchase. But now, I am one who is thoroughly convinced they know what they're doing. I am absolutely pumped for this.

If any Disney property is going to crossover with Marvel, I'm certainly glad it's Phineas and Ferb. Food for thought that will get one pumped for this: PaF is a musical show. So that means there's a possibility of having the Avengers sing and dance.

Or maybe, just maybe, they're probably going to make this one a little bit darker in tone. True, there could be some comedy, but there might be some darker aspects into this one.
    Hey, I just met you
    And this is crazy
    But here's my motto
    So Hakuna Matata, maybe?

Like the movie. It would still be fun to have the Avengers in a musical number though!

It's an April Fool's Day joke. Don't believe it.

    Jk!

I'm not a big fan of superheroes but this looks awesome.

I do like the choice. It's quite a funny one, but when I saw the Avengers, Bruce Banner did strike me as the awkward nerd-type.
