From time to time, but not really. These judges are inept at giving an opinion.
Howard Stern on America's Got Talent on the other hand, that will be interesting.
Last night's episode was funny... Steven Tyler is just like "Oh, we're using our save"... taking all the drama out of it. Seacrest was like "well. I have no response for that."
That being said, I'm not really that into the show any more. These kdis have NO idea how to perform and the judges are all like "YOUROCKTHAT!"
bleh.
Thoughts?

I've lost my mind. Isn't that great?
American Idol ran it's course many seasons ago.

I'm one of the few that like the new judges and how the show currently is. I think there is a lot of talent this year; some more than others of course, but talent. For some reason I just can't get tired of American Idol.

I was once a diehard AI fan. But the critiquing just isn't critiquing. I understand wanting to keep the show positive, but sometimes you have to give it to people like it is. Also I have never been a Jennifer Lopez fan. Her critique is so weak, even when she's trying to be constructive. Randy Jackson used to be a better judge. As for Steven Tyler he seems to be genuinely nice, but he knows this industry and should be prepping these young people for the reality of it all! Sometimes I think the judges could brush up on their vocabulary too! Sometimes there choice of words is just so out there. I gave up about 3 weeks ago. Even that wasn't soon enough...lol!
I was never into it American Idol, but I did watch the final episode on the season with David and David. I did it just so I could call to vote for David Cook. I live close to where Archuleta and was so tired of everyone making a big deal out of it, lol.
Anyways, I watched the first season of The Voice and LOVED it! This second time around, I do not like the changes they have made. The judges seem to be keeping those who might be "popular" later on, instead of those with true talent. So now, I just record it and fast forward through most of it. There are a few people who are nice, but I don't want to fall in love with any of them because the judges will probably just get rid of them.
AI this year just feels REALLY manipulated... like by the producer, not the stats or judges or anything.
I can barely stand Randy Jackson. I like Steve Tyler because you never know what he's going to say next.
I wouldn't say that any of the top 8 are particularly more talented this year than other years, but they are all very equally talented.
Just that some of them are like "nope Nigel (the producer) or Ryan... I am NOT going to play that game and answer that dumb question".
good for them!
