Anyway here's my improved ideas for the film,
Title: Man with a Dream
Overview: The story is basically a biographical, comedic, and drama film based on the life of Walt Disney. The film is told from Walt's view but then Roy's at the end.
Plot: It's December 5th, 1905 and Flora Disney gives birth to a baby boy, who's name soon becomes Walter Elias Disney. Walt's childhood is explored as he deals with moving to Marceline, Missouri from Chicago spending most of his childhood there until at sixteen he decides to go to war since his older brother Roy went. After feeling lonely as a ambulance driver during the war he asks to be discharged in which he returns to Chicago. He informs his father he wants to be an artist which makes his father doubtful of him. Eventually Walt gets a job in Kansas City working as a Cartoonist with Alice Comedies and what not. However soon he decides to move to Los Angeles to seek better business and ironically his brother Roy happens to be in Los Angeles. Finally after dealing with hard times Walt manages to marry Lillian Bounds and eventually strikes a deal to create with Ub Iwerks a character for Universal named, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit with cartoons being made. But things go sour as by 1927, Walt through a contract loop hole loses the rights to Oswald and his animators are fired. Seeking something new while on a train ride from New York to Los Angeles, Walt's partner Ub Iwerks draws random animal sketches in which they decide for a mouse called, "Mortimer Mouse" reluctantly Lily insists he be renamed "Mickey Mouse". Henceforth Mickey Mouse is born and makes his first sound appearance in 1928 in Steamboat Wille. Now with Mickey being a success Walt expands his Animation career with Sily Symphonys and such though suffers from a mental break down. Nonetheless after vacationing with his wife Lily he is refreshed and ready to continue and receives a daughter named Diane. Thus Walt begins on his idea for a full-length feature animated film called, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" distributed by Rko Pictures it becomes a hit but before hand Walt adopts a girl named Shannon. With the profits of Snow White Walt builds a studio in Burbank, California. Though by the late 30's Walt and Roy's father and mother die.
As the studio is built Walt continues with more animated films like Pinocchio, Bambi, and Fantasia however the Second World War hits leading the US into war by 1942. During the war more and more of Walt's animators leave to join the army while luckily for Disney the war means propaganda cartoons to aid the war effort. By the time the war comes to a close Walt decides to experiment more with animation and such with films like Cinderella, Peter Pan, and Sleeping Beauty even he begins to design a idea for a mickey mouse theme park, which later morphs into "Disneyland" a place where people of all ages can have fun together in which Walt begins to begin his idea. Eventually Walt chooses Anaheim, California as the perfect location for his park in which he recruits a team of artists and engineers who help him design and construct the park. Meanwhile Walt, begins to market and such on Television with shows like Disneyland and True Life Adventure that air on ABC. On July 17th, 1955 Disneyland opens to the public but however after the opening dedication speech and such the rides begin to break down and the lack of water fountains and air conditioning rise. This causes Walt to feel left down but soon he persuades his imagineers to fix those problems in which they do by 1956 and by 1959 the Matterhorn and Submarine Voyage open. Back in the studio, Walt continues to experiment with Animation and such and creates during the 60's classics like One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Mary Poppins, and The Jungle Book. In Disneyland, the team of Imagineers called "WED Enterprise" begin to design and construct rides for the World's Fair then, 3 new attractions for Disneyland even Walt himself has a big project called "Disney World" in development stages. However all things go sour for Walt as he begins to collapse during Thanksgiving of 1966 and by December 15th, 10 days after his 65th birthday Walt Disney passes away due to lung cancer. During the years after Walt's death, Roy decides to take over his brother's company and finish his late brother's Disney World project. Finally by October 1st, 1971 the first phase of Walt Disney World opens with Magic Kingdom and such, at the park Roy gives a dedication speech that is a tribute to his brother and such.
Cast:
1. Jean Dujardin as Walt Disney (40's-60's)
2. Stanley Tucci as Roy Oliver Disney
3. Ginnifer Goodwin as Lillian Bounds Disney (20's-60's)
4. Unknown actor as Walt Disney (20's-30's)
5. Unknown actor as Teenaged Walt Disney
6. Unknown actor as Child Walt Disney
7. Armie Hammer as Young Adult Roy Oliver Disney
8. Unknown actor as Elias Disney
9. Unknown actress as Flora Disney
More to come soon...
