Registrations for the 7th Annual VF Scavenger Hunt are now closed. Thank to all the teams for joining and I hope that you will enjoy the event!
This event will take place inside the Disneyland Resort on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 starting at 8:30 am with the awards ceremony between 6:00 - 7:00pm. All teams are to meet in the picnic area to the left side of Disneyland’s main entrance at 7:30 am for event check in. Then at or near 8:15 am, the teams will be given their VF Digital Scavenger Hunt game booklets. These booklets will contain cropped photos and a list of other items that are located throughout Disneyland. Your booklet will also contain a mystery hunt who's details you'll find out on the day of the event. The teams will search the park for all of these items and take a digital picture of there items.
* = Park admission is not included in your registration. You are responsible for entry into Disneyland, along with all associated costs (parking, food, beverages, etc). No items will be located inside Disney's California Adventure, so you will NOT need to purchase a Park Hopper ticket. However, there is a chance that we will try to get a group to go into DCA after the event for a meal or the go on some attractions.
Now this is a game for a team consisting of two people with at least one of them a current member of Visions Fantastic in good standing. Only the two people on the team may search the park looking for the items. Visions Fantastic staff and event volunteers will be scouting the park for teams that are asking for help from anyone else, including Cast Members. Again, this is prohibited. All event rules must be strictly adhered to. Any team found to be deviating from any these rules will immediately be disqualified and have their Scavenger Hunt booklets removed from their possession. The current fee is $30 per two-person team. (VF Premium Members receive a $5 discount on regular and late registration prices)
. After July 27th, we enter "late registration" and which point the fee increases to $35 per team.
Prizes, along with the Gideon Elliot Stuart Memorial Award, will be announced at a later date.
