I want Epcot, and I need five bulldozersXD. Starwars, wol4eva, and me are already knee deep into wonders
Hi, everybody, it's me, DisneyMan1. You know, the Disneyland overhaul thread has inspired me to make a thread to overhaul not one park...
but FOUR!
That's right, this thread is meant for those who have ideas to improve the four parks of Walt Disney World:
THE MAGIC KINGDOM
EPCOT
DISNEY'S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM
So come express your ideas on this, the (probably) official WDW overhaul thread!
See ya real soon!![]()
"Walt Disney World is a tribute to the philosophy and life of Walter Elias Disney... and to the talents, the dedication, and the loyalty of the entire Disney organization that made Walt Disney's dream come true. May Walt Disney World bring Joy and Inspiration and New Knowledge to all who come to this happy place ... a Magic Kingdom where the young at heart of all ages can laugh and play and learn — together."

Well, I'm thinking of doing away with the old WoL building and replacing it with the return of Horizons.

Waaaait D-Man, D-man, D-Man why should we do away with Wonders when it can be revived. I'm all for Horizons(believe me look at my avatar and you can tell I love horizons) but I believe it should have it's original space. Here's a link to the thread http://www.visionsfantastic.com/foru...ad.php?t=32046 take a look at some of our
plans![]()

Good for you, starwarsgeek! And Jaalin, what will become of Mission: SPACE? It's very popular.

My personal take on the issue of Mission Space is that it fits in better in Future World West. To me, if sea exploration belongs in West, space exploration does as well.
Of course, moving Mission Space is completely impractical for all real-world purposes. It's too expensive and accomplishes nothing in the eyes of almost all guests, plus I don't know if there is enough room for a space pavilion. I'm not really sure what direction you're looking for here: a perfect world blue-sky overhaul, or something realistic.
If you're looking at a more idealized situation, then Mission: Space gets moved. But then, in my ideal world, Horizons doesn't go in Future World East, because its goal is to combine everything in Future World, not just the high-tech Future World East part. I prefer it in Future World Central.
Rumor has it that Innoventions was designed with a second floor in mind. Google Maps shows that Innoventions could have enough floor space to fit something similar. It's a bit unconventional, but could work.
I have a couple of ideas for Epcot. One thing is to slightly update the Mexico boat ride with the Three Caballeros in it. After the Mickey Mouse Revue closed a few years ago at Tokyo Disneyland, I was pondering possibly using its set of characters in other attractions. One of the scenes in the show was a scene devoted to the Three Caballeros, with AAs of Donald, Jose and Panchito, like so:
Anyway, what happens is that you would see these particular versions of the characters at the end of the Mexico boat ride, replacing a video screen of the characters, but obviously much more updated than in the Revue, and Donald and Jose wearing sombreros. Of course, that would remove the fast-paced, constantly-changing imagery seen in the ride actually. Take a look at a video of the ride (from 5:30 to 5:50) and tell me what you think: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWKNHF2szeE.
Another thing is I would do for Epcot is, of course, a drastic overhaul of the Imagination pavilion, based on a blog called E82. In the interest of time and space, I will not go into a lot of detail, just provide you with the link to the information, but it should give you an idea of what I'm thinking of: http://www.epcotlegacy.com/historica...on-part-4.html. To see what I mean, scroll down to where it says "Beyond Infinite: Tomorrow's Imagination" and read from there. That's basically how I would overhaul Journey Into Imagination, based on the contents of the link.
"Walt Disney's. Each week, as you enter this timeless land, one of these many worlds will open to you: Frontierland, tall tales and true from the legendary past; Tomorrowland, promise of things to come; Adventureland, the wonder world of nature's own realm; Fantasyland, the happiest kingdom of them all."

BDF, I was actually thinking about bringing back the original version of Journey Into Imagination (with Dreamfinder and Figment) with re-mastered audio and a new safety spiel by Figment.

Well I did suggest moving Mission Space to D-Land, and just bulldozing the building(I'd love to the one controlling that thing).
Your right ok Mission Space shall go there
I'm not sure if anyone noticed yet, so I'll repost this:

Well, that sounds like a good idea to use those AAs. Do you have any ideas on how to improve any of the other three parks, BDF?
