    Talking Happy 45th Birthday to Pirates of the Caribbean

    Well everybody today is the 45th birthday of Pirates of the Caribbean, so I say happy birthday to Pirates of the Caribbean.

    I was 11 years old when Pirates of The Caribbean opened. Actually, Disneyland is just two months older than me.

    I've always thought that Pirates Of The Caribbean is the best ride at Disneyland because it is an original classic, not like Star Wars or Indiana Jones.

    This is Walt Disney's original idea, and I was absolutely ecstatic when I heard from a lady, who was going to meet her husband in the Caribbean, a part of the construction crew, that they were going to make the movie. I'm just disappointed that political correctness has infected the ride, and taken the fun out of some of it.
