    Default Disney's Hollywoodland (Open Brainstorming)

I feel hypocritical typing this because I hate it when people talk about a Disney studios type park. However, I don't completely because this isn't really a studios park. Disney's Hollywoodland is an entire park devoted to the Golden Age of Hollywood (1930's).
Here's a list of attractions and lands (restuarants and shops will be added in the future):

Buena Vista Street: A copy of the new entrance at DCA.
-Red Car Trollies: They travel from Entrance of Buena Vista Steet (behind the wall added so you can't see the outside world) to The Hollywood Tower Hotel.

Sunset Blvd: Sunset Blvd is really the main land of the park because it really sets the town of Hollywood in the 30's.
-Muppet Show: Not Muppet Visions 3D, but a show about Muppets in 1930's Hollywood. The facade design would be of the El Capitan.
-The Great Movie Ride: An updated version with newer movies (Such as Avatar or Harry Potter). Same exterior as DHS, Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
-Red Car Trollies: Just a little stop on the way to The Hollywood Tower Hotel.
-Movie: Not sure what yet, but some sort of theatre. (Here's the design:

    Hollywood Studios
    -Thru the Lens: http://www.visionsfantastic.com/foru...ad.php?t=31627

    The Hollywood Tower Hotel
-Tower of Terror: A combination of WDW's and DCA's ToT. Here's something I created a long time ago (http://trackmill.com/free-rider-2/Tracks/1503709)
-Tip Top Club: An AA dinner show for the Tip Top Club (concept art soon).

    Hollywood Hills
    -Nothing Yet

    Hollywood Blvd
    -Nothing Yet

    So, what ya'll think?

Looks good so far! I look forward to more info on the Tip Top Club show!
"Pretty soon he would be hundreds and hundreds of miles away on the great plains and deserts, and among the mountains of the Far West, and would see buffaloes and Indians, and prairie dogs, and antelopes, and have all kinds of adventures, and may be get hanged or scalped, and have ever such a fine time, and write home and tell us all about it, and be a hero."
    - Mark Twain, jealous of his brother, who was traveling west.

Just had an idea for a Rocketeer spinner. After all, it's set in the 1930's L.A.

Here's some concept art for the building it would be held in:

This would probably go on Hollywood Blvd. (This piece of concept art is actually for DCA, hense "right of Thru the Lens" and the Soarin' billboard).

Thank you Jaalin. Here's a map of the park so far:

    (Full version here: http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...59949934_n.jpg)

If you notice, I have Mullholand Madness in it. However it's not like the one in Paradise Pier in DCA. It's more like RSR with having a "slot car" and it featuring a dark ride portion and a rollercoaster.

Jaalin, do you want to work on a Muppet show for me? I would be very greatful.
Also, for Hollywood Hills, since there are a lot of houses there, we could have Mickey's, Minnies, Donald's, & Goofy's houses all there for a meet and greet. The houses wouldn't be as cartoon but still have a cartoon like look to 'em.

Your chose on 3D or not. I'm not so sure what you mean by the character's 30's designs. Do you mean Pie Eyed or the Plane Crazy (I believe that's what I'm thinking of).

Because it would fit in perfectly with the jazz. More or less Louis and the fire fly plus five could make an apperance

Jaalin, I understand what you are saying but no because it just wouldn't work. Sorry.

Donald's Highway Hang-Up (Designed by Hawk671 of MiceChat)
Donald’s Highway Hang-Up: This is an all new attraction that would take the place of the old millionaire building. It would be an all new indoor rollercoaster attraction. Guests enter the streamline moderne façade of the Hollywoodland Luxury Car Company. This post is getting so long so I’ll give you a brief jist of the attraction. In the queue you would pass through the offices of the limo company (everything would be themed to the 1930’s). You guests are supposed to be the high profile clients who have arrived waiting to be driven to a grand film premiere. Inside, guests encounter Donald who is a driver for the company..but he is fast asleep at the office desk. Daisy can be heard yelling through the radio saying, “ Donald come in….answer please…the guests should be there by now for the premiere….where are you?” The conflict is Donald has to get guests to the film premiere on time…and like all things with Donald…things may take a crazy turn. Guests board rollercoaster trains themed to 1940’s limos. The load area opens up to a 3d mural of the Hollywoodland hills. The limo (with Donald supposedly at the wheel) launches off into darkness at high speed. All set to a swing soundtrack, the limo would rocket through blacklit pop art cutouts of old Hollywood landmarks. The coaster would be along the lines of space mountain in terms of thrill level. At the last turn guests would pass a group of paparazzi with flashing cameras as they pull up to a small little post ride show scene. The flashes would actually take a picture like most Disney coaster available for purchase. The car comes to a cruise and passes a small showscene of a grand premiere of Graumanns Chinese theater with old cars, ballyhoo lights, and more. Guests then exit.

New Façade with Hollywoodland hillscape rockwork:

Vehicle Inspiration (would be a long rollercoaster train with a front similar to this):

Interior blacklight cutouts would be in the style below:

    Donald’s Look:
Also done by Hawk671 is this piece of concept art for a theatre that I think will work great for The Muppet Theatre.

The Hyperion Theatre will house a stage show, not sure what yet.

Hollywood Studio's new name is TTL Studios.
