I miss the days when the Bank of Main Street was a real bank.
Dear Main Street USA, once you were so diverse! You could get a haircut, buy tobacco or even a bra! I love the idea that you be restored to a true Main Street offering more than the same products in each store!
Anyone else have a wish list for Main Street USA? Anyone else tired of seeing the same exact same Disneyland merchandise in each store? It is boring and not reminiscent of what it was when the park opened, and sadly so...Having multitudes of products in each shop detracts from it feeling like a true small town.
Bring back a barbershop!
How about a drugstore!
An actual bookstore!
What shop would you like to see on Main Street USA?

I miss the days when the Bank of Main Street was a real bank.

A big oops! Thank you for the correction Steve! Bring IN a barbershop then! :)

If the guys get a barber shop, we ladies should get a manicurist!

How about a "general store" with fun food items like old fashioned candy, hot sauce/BBQ sauce, teas, coffees, cook books etc?

I second the book store...Disney has its own publishing house for Pete's sake! And I think that bringing in more artists and crafts people would be fun too.
I would love a "general store"! Or even a store where ladies and gents can get some fancy hats and things. That would be adorable.

I think a candy store that sells every candy known to man would be awesome. I remember watching a documentary on tv that was about a rock stars daughter, I can't remember who, that started a retro candy shop back east. She carried and sold candy that I haven't seen since I was ten years old. It was amazing. I think something like that would be really fun.
