^ Thats exactly what I'm thinking. They go against Boston today, I could see them picking up 2 from Boston.

I really hope the Giants pick it up. It was pretty painful to see them give up the 6 run lead yesterday

^ You've still got 159 games to go. No need to worry just yet. Me, I don't want to see any more 5-error games, or bases-loaded ground balls hit right to infielders.

Truth be told, when it was 6-0, I thought the game was over. I must have forgotten about all of Arizona's come-from-behind wins last season. At any rate, they're off today and begin a series against San Diego tomorrow. Trevor Cahill makes his regular season debut tomorrow, so let's see if he can put together a better performance than Kennedy, Hudson and Collmenter did.

Giants won yesterday! With Barry Zito on the mound, he threw 9 SHUT OUT INNINGS!
I wish Zito would pitch like that in all of his starts!
There is an off day today for the Giants and the NL West rival Rockies, but
there is a lot of action going on here in the MLB.

Detroit's Justin Verlander takes a one-hitter into the ninth today against Tampa Bay and gets shelled for four runs. Another indication of how baseball can be quite unpredictable.

Great Goodness! 4-2 victory by the Giants today. Brian Wilson had a pretty ugly save, but he accomplished it.
They end up taking 2-3 from the Rocks! Bumgarner went over 7 innings and nearly got a home run, but was taken
away by CF, Dexter Fowler. I hope the Giants smooth up and get some more W's

Okay, so we're officially a week into the season. So what's surprised you so far? For me, it would have to be that the best team in Los Angeles right now is the Dodgers and not the Angels.

^ I know 6-1! I can't believe the Dodgers are 6-1. Hopefully The Giants can at least get a game or two from them.
In other news, Many teams are having their home openers tonight.

With Brian Wilson out for the season, who is taking over the closer role for the Giants, Griff?

I heard that either Sergio Romo or Santiago Casilla are taking over, but I heard they would be bringing up the young Heath Hembree up from double A
