    Default Fixing Epcot (OPEN BRAINSTORMING)

This thread is the first of five threads where we focus on fixing WDW. This first one is where everyone can discuss fixing Epcot. I believe that we should start outside the park and work our way in. So to start it off... What do you think should be done with Leave a legacy?

Well, we could add a carnival in it's place. Still be better than EPCOT.

I feel that with the right Additions/replacements/refurbs. that Epcot could be one of the best disney parks ( until the VF imagineering team takes on the others )

I feel these two things sum up epcots problems

We should make it more like what Walt wanted.

Walt wanted a city... sadly that is out of the reach of our time period so A really good fun/educational ( only able to use those two in the same sentence is epcot) park where it takes two days to do everything instead of the current TT,Soarin out will do.

as opposed to a city, maybe a kind of hotel where you feel the experience? kind of a hotel city. i am not sure how to keep the feeling of living when guests would be there for about 3 days, but it would still be fun. maybe just a hotel section of the park that would be open to individuals with a reservation, which would be enticing, to basically stay in the park over night...but not facing so as to not to ruin the magic of the over night clean up.

^ Sounds cool! The Experimental Prototype Hotel (Resort?) of Tomorrow. EPHOT. Looking at Google Maps, it seems as though there is room to the east of the parking lot & the entrance area.

What are y'all going to do for the space between Germany and China? A new country? South America? Africa, perhaps?
"Pretty soon he would be hundreds and hundreds of miles away on the great plains and deserts, and among the mountains of the Far West, and would see buffaloes and Indians, and prairie dogs, and antelopes, and have all kinds of adventures, and may be get hanged or scalped, and have ever such a fine time, and write home and tell us all about it, and be a hero."

Epcot is my favorite park plus Phin you've never been there have you?!! Cause if you had you wouldn't of said that! Epcot may not of be wat Walt wanted, but its darn close to it and it holds his dream, one day it will be built! The best thing to do is bring back Horizons, screw Mission space it encourages nothing rides at Epcot used to inspire the human race into thinking if we worked hard we can make the world a better place. Horizons was the best example, and in to days times we need some encouragement. Also put back on the center it makes it better

Nope all Epcot needs is a megafurb (huge refurbishment) Bring back the Original Symbols and call rides like test track(even though its leaving) and innovations

" The communicore presents: Innovations" and "World of motion presents: Test track". Bring back SMRT-1, bring back Kitchen Kabaret ,bring back the brittish double decker buses, add more countries, bring back dream finder, add some people movers, get rid of Nemo and get me back Sea Base Alpha, bring Horizons back home, and for god sakes get rid of Ellen!! May God bless Epcot, and May God bless America !!!!!!!!!!

actually their rebursing it into more of an of a cyberspace mountain like ride you get to make your own track and its gonna be more simulator : In January 2012, Disney Parks announced plans to renovate Test Track during the second and third quarters of the year.[2] As part of the update, Test Track's sponsor will become General Motors' Chevrolet marque instead of GM as a whole.[2] The new additions include a pre-show area where guests will "design" a new car for testing in the Chevrolet Design Center, then they will board Test Track's existing six-passenger ride vehicles, to be known as "SimCars", to see how their design fares on the Center's driving course.[2] The experience concludes in a renovated showroom featuring current and future Chevrolet products.

I like it, its going back to world of motion days (the show room) and plus test track was getting old and barley taught a person anything. The new one will give guest hands on track making, and show them what happens in the car making process. Very fun and educational
