TRON ride?
Disney engineers developing a Tron: Legacy Ride?
Geek.com
Not letting another marketing opportunity go to waste, Disney theme park engineers (otherwise known as Imagineers) are supposedly working on a new theme park ride to go along with the upcoming Tron: Legacy film. Rumor has it that Disney Imagineers have been pouring over the Tron: Legacy sets, concept art, and props to potentially put together a new ride attraction.
Although this new ride is just in its initial stages, if the film does as well as Disney expects one can expect a new Tron: Legacy ride to be constructed in just a few years. Where might you find such a ride? Where else but Tomorrowland of course.

This would be quite the rehab. I hope this speculation turns up wonders!
^ As long as the "Let's hope it's something like a redo of Space Moutain to a Tron race- fast, speedy, and lots of glowing neon lights!" <--- This must NEVER happen!

I would hope for something like the new Harry Potter ride in Florida. Guests hop on light cycles, then they essentially are given a tour of the grid by the films' characters.
Life's a happy song!
It might just be rumor, but it got me ALLLLL excited!!! They need to use that track in TL. Perhaps lightcycles of sorts would work there!!! The possibilities!!
"is the star, everything else is in the supporting role." - Walt Disney
Trivia: In the movie "Cars", the tow truck introduces himself as "Mater, like Ta-Mater without the Ta". However, in French, the joke did not translate so he introduced himself as "Martin, like Aston Martin without the Aston"

When I attended D23's Destination D:Disneyland '55, one of the things I discovered from Imagineers is that they are ALWAYS creating attractions based on Walt Disney Studio's films. They showed us concept art for a Herbie the Love Bug attraction, for a Black Cauldron land... Every film that comes from Disney, an attraction is imagineered for it. It doesn't mean that the idea will become a reality, which is evident in the absence of "Apple Dumpling Gang" and "Robin Hood" attractions.
So having said that, this news should come as little surprise. However, Tron: Legacy is going to be big, I'm predicting, which gives this rumor a little more weight. If the film is a success, naturally Tron will make its way into Tomorrowland. I'm excited to see how these plans turn out!
