The brief station bump (4 seconds as opposed to 40) plays whenever the stream encounters an under-run or other issue that forces a stream restart. Only the brief station bump plays automatically during a restart, other messages play in the Request System as individual titles that may be requested.

Thank you! The new flashplayer works great. It still directs you to use the Winamp as the player of choice on the page where you select the player.
Also, the "you are listening to VF radio" message plays every 10 minutes. Is that right? Earlier I heard 3 different messages all in 3 minutes? Kind of strange?

Some bit rate inconsistencies occasionally cause the "chipmunk" effect when listening with Winamp. That is why we recommend the new flash player (link available on the top left of every forum page). As for the intro file, it appeared when we reset the server last week, we're working on replacing this with a shorter file.

Hi there!
I have trouble when certain songs play, such as the Round Trip (induction record) &Tiki Room Lanai music. When they start to play they play as if they are on 'high speed' & it tells me it's buffering.
I used to be able just to click stop, then play again & it would play normally. Today I do not seem to be able to do that & there is a new VF message everytime I do which takes up the first 40 seconds of the song.
Can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I am listening via Winamp.

Some titles in the VF Radio Requests database are an incorrect/incompatible bit rate; these files must be converted and replaced lest they create problems for the system. The Bugs files are among those with an incorrect bit rate. They should be readmitted to the database shortly.
