Fantasmic! 10th Anniversary

So idk how many people realize this but this year marks the 10th year that Florida will grace having the amazingness of Fantasmic! I was just wondering if anyone had heard of big plans for this monumental event or not....cuz i like 2 think that Disney will do something 2 celebrate this i mean come on...10 years of Fantasmic! It's an accomplishment considering it's still popular! So i'd like 2 see them do something 2 it 2 celebrate 10 years of it being there....so like i said b4 i was just wondering if any1 had heard any plans or not...thanks!

probably not because for the First time since DL opened in 55 DL finally got something that DL only cares about! plus when it turns 20 or 25 WDW will celebrate it too...or just WDW because DL never really celebrated 100 years of Magic (Walt turning 100).

Fantasmic! deserves an upgrade sometime soon. I really enjoy the show but both versions are outdated and need more characters, movie updates, better technology, we need a Fantasmic! 2.0.

Fantasmic! did recive and upgrade from the DL version. It added more characters from different movies into the show...It changed the entire Peter Pan scene to the Pocahontas scene. The DL version is currently doing some minor updates on Fantasmic! but nothing at WDW.

I would really like them to do somthing at WDW tho...... :)

wait what thats completely wrong there is still a peter pan scene at DL you really mean WDW fantasmic

also if you have seen both they are completely different in different ways the DL version has the Classics while in WDW it kept some classic movies scenes but add the new movies. i like both but nothing can beat the original one DL is better and should receive no updates. im saying this because if they do they will probably only get the WDW version, that ones nice but yeah.

DL fantasmic opend in 1992 WDW fantasmic opened in 1998 so WDW is 10 not DL there 16 this year! just did the math lol

I just had a small heart attack! I hope they didnt' take out the Peter Pan scene! I love that!
I can't believe it's been 10 years! So many things have just flown by in the past 10 years! I'm going to have to watch it online now to conjur up memories :)

Disneyland's show is more fantasy, fitting with the theme of Disneyland. WDW's has more modern movies & more movies period, fitting in with the theme of Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Either way, WDW's does need an upgrade.

Disneyland's is 2.0, now WDW just needs to follow suite. :]

i think DL's will really be 2.0 if its true about adding the HD projectors and the new remote controlled dragon.

I would hardly call replacing every single lighting fixture used in the show with brand new fixtures, replacing the pyro, minor changes. Nor would I would I call the upcoming replacement of the Film Projectors to Digital Projectors, a rebuilt Bucky, and more lighting and special effects upgrades, minor changes.
