Not bad! I did 3 miles Monday night, keeping up a 10-11 min/mile pace.

*pokes the thread* How's everyone coming along?? I've been running twice a week. Working a bit on speed over the summer. I did 3 miles in 29:46 earlier in the week, and I wasn't even pushing myself. Yay! I'm signing up for the Expedition Everest Challenge (5k + obstacle course + scavenger hunt), Race For the Taste 10k, and Tower of Terror 13k in the meantime to get some practice in, and I'm looking to register for the Princess Half Marathon next year as well!

Anyone else get in? The Half-Marathon is full now, but the full Marathon still has spots left!

so, I'm not running the half-marathon in 2010. I decided not to sign up. Though, I'm really thinking about doing it in 2011!

Hopefully you'll be able to make it! I'm hoping to do the full marathon in 2011.

I found a great book on the Borders' clearance rack - Hal Higdon's "Marathon: The Ultimate Training Guide." It's a really great, down-to-earth guide to training for a marathon. I know we're only preparing for a half this time, but it's a great starting place for a training plan!

Well, I'm back home. I felt really good during the run. It also helped that it was a cool day, making it perfect running weather.
I didn't look up my official time yet, but the time at the finish read 24:14, which means it is actually less because I was not at the beginning when the run started.
But now my knee really hurts....
