Walt Disney World Christmas Present

My parents just announced that we will be going to Orlando this Christmas. We fly out of Buffalo on December 25 (We asked to go to Walt Disney World instead of getting presents this year) & we spend 3 days at Universal Orlando Resort before we go to Walt Disney World for a week. Does anyone have any recommendations for a cheap hotel near Universal? My dad's still searching for a good hotel near that resort.

Anyways I'M SO EXCITED!!! It may be a bit early but HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Haha, im ging to orlando in july and its benn an eternity, lol i could not imagine how long the wait will be. Well my experience of orlando trips is really big i go to orlando every year. And if you want to go to universal you may stay in the Quality inn hotel that are in the International drive(be sure to check out on the internet) that street will take you directly to universal and seaworld to. In just like 5-10 mins. Is like 15 or 20min from WDW the international drive.
There are many,manymany quality inn hotels i think the night is $59.95 or something like that for night.
If u have any question, dont doubt to ask me!

The Quality Inn is behind the worlds largest Mc Donalds on the corner of Sand Lake Rd & International Drive.
