Smile Questions about the Disney World parks and being disabled

My sister and I are going to the Disney World parks for the very first time, the first week of December and were wondering if anyone here that has been there can clear up some things before we go, So we can plan accordingly and have the best time we can.

First off, I am in a wheelchair due to being born with Spina Bifida and having many surgeries and such but i've still been to Disneyland many times and absolutely love it, because i am able to transfer out of my chair and into the rides and such.

But the question we had is, Are most of the rides at the parks like at Disneyland where we can go into the exit or some other special entrance to get on the rides or do we have to stay in the standard line the whole way, or maybe split off half way?

She got the booklet from Disney which kinda says what we'll have to do with going in the exits of some of the rides but then it says proceed through the standard line and then go to the left and things like that on some of them..

Does anyone know of a place that explains it in depth or maybe can just tell us how it is on most of the rides, like Splash Mountain (One of my favorites)??
