WDW is pretty easy to get into. Here is a tip, Take World Dr. to the Transportation & ticket Center (MK parking). There, you have 3 Monorail beams, Ferry, & bus transportation.
WDW Monorail
Express Monorail Nonstop service between the Magic Kingdom, and TTC.
Resort Monorail Stops at TTC, Polynesian Resort, Grand Floridian Resort, Magic Kingdom, & the Contemporary resort.
Epcot Monorail Nonstop service between TTC, and Epcot.

Ferry
Takes you across the Seven Seas lagoon to the Magic Kingdom.

Bus
There is a bus station, follow the signs. The buses take you to the resorts, Disney's Hollywood studios, & Disney's Animal Kingdom. They might even take you to Epcot & the Magic Kingdom.

If you are visiting only Epcot, Disney's Hollywood studios, or Disney's Animal Kingdom for the day, park in the parking lots at the parks.

BTW, ride the monorail for me. lol

The buses go everywhere, except MK, it just takes you to the transit center, so you can get on the ferry.

ryguy222, I know MK has a bus station.

Its just a bit further away than the Monorail & Ferry stations. Could be helpful traveling from DHS or AK to MK or something like that.

Thanks Palm Desert Babe :) lol

Other than the fact that its gonna be very humid and miserable thats about it, but being at WDW should help quell that problem. :)

Oh at Epcot grab your Soarin fastpass right when it opens. Lines will be long all day & fastpass will probably be out.
Grab the fastpass, go ride Test Track then hopefully when you get off that it should be time for Soarin. But then again since the California park has it dont make it a priority unless you want to.

Also make sure you go on the orange side of mission space. Both are good, but orange really isn't that intense, in fact its really cool. Green you don't spin at all, you just move a little bit, its less movement then star tours so its kinda boring.

I saw La Nouba for the second time on my last trip. It's a very good show and in my opinion worth the price. I think it usually sells out so if you are considering going you might want to order your tickets sooner than later.

As far as other things to consider go, one thing that has been around a while but I discovered for the first time on my last trip is the Disney Photo Pass. I liked it because not only did we get our pictures taken by a professional but we could go in and add borders and effects to every picture. We had a large group and we didn't stick together every day so we ended up with three photo passes. When we got home we combined them into one account and ordered over 200 pictures on CD from Disney.

Ive been to both parks as well ( since im from Boston, which is far from both)

and some things ive noticed were:

allow more time to get from park to park

in WDW you have to wait for the busses to go from park to park
sometimes it can be a hassel waiting but all in all its great

there are also some great places in DTD to shop/eat/ or even just walk around!

It's simple. At every park they have several cast members spread out near the best photo locations. (i.e., right in front of the floral Mickey in the MK or the Tree of Life in the AK). You can easily spot the photo pass cast members because they have a high end digital camera and are usually wearing a khaki photographers vest. The cast member will position you in front of the attraction/landmark and snap a few photos of you with their camera. They will even take pictures of you with your camera so you don't have to worry about someone in your group being left out of the shot. When they are finished taking your picture they give you a card with a barcode on it that they have already cross referenced with your photos. You can use the same card with every photo pass cast member.

From there you have two options. You can go to the various photo locations at the parks and see the photos and even order them on the spot. Or you can look on the back of your card for the website www.DisneyPhotoPass.com, enter the access code on your card and edit your pictures to your liking. Like I said in my last post we decided to order all of our pictures on CD which was a huge savings.

But I think the coolest part of the photo pass is the creative minds of the photo pass cast members. On some photos they had us point to the ground in front of us and told us to look surprised. When we saw the photo they had added a picture of Stitch breaking through the concrete. In another photo my niece cupped her hands in front of her and they added Tinkerbell to the photo so it looked like she was sitting in her hands. They also added the rose from Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella's castle as an option. If you use your photo pass when your have your picture take with a character you can add the autograph of that character to your photo. The possibilites are endless and it's all free up until you buy the photos. We just got our Disney Photo Movie DVD which has our photos mixed in with video and music from WDW and it's a fantastic souvenir.

Wow that Photopass sounds great. I haven't been to WDW since they've added that. Universal Orlando should use that as an example for a similar program at their parks.
