Whats inside? what is it's history? i wanna know everything about it :old_wink:

well, inside is "its tough to be a bug", the 4-D show. there is a show on the travel channel about the park, and for about 20 minutes, they are talking about the tree. the tree is actully an old oil rig. i forgot the rest of the history, but oh well.

Here's a picture of it taken from when I was there back in June '05.

Seeing that was really great for me. It was like stepping into one of the scenes from The Lion King.

Yep, surely that humans like to mimic nature. Isn't that true, because it is a quote from a scientist.

I love the Tree of Life, its one of my favorite attractions in WDW.

I love the Tree of life!! it's beautiful and a great place just to stand
around and admire!! It's my favriote place to take a picture in Animal Kingdom! It's probably the most magical tree I have ever seen

the people who built it literaly made p which animals went where. they asked themselves, what does this look like?

Its like SE in Epcot or the Castle in MK. It truly is the icon that represents what the Animal Kingdom is all about. I hope that if the Imagineers ever lose sight of what they are doing that tree will remind them of what they can do right when they set their hearts and minds too

Thats one of the great examples of Disney attention to detail!! Creating detail is in part what makes Disney Magic..Just wish they put the same amount of energy in maintaining that detail. Great pics ekm though, makes me even more eager to get back there and im going in little over a month!!

Lucky you! I am not going to be able to make it back until the end of January into Feb. But hopefully when I go back I will have a friend with me who hasn't been to the park since the year they broke ground for EPCOT!
