Default Finding Nemo: The Musical

While it sounds interesting, I'm wondering how it's possible. Finding Nemo never struck me as a "musical"-type of movie.

Look in the laughingplace.com archives for a sample of one of the songs from the new musical. It's called "Big Blue World." The musical will be mostly done by puppets.

I have grown with a fascination toward puppets, so this show should be right up my alley. The only problem is musicals don't always seem to cut it at WDW. I hope Disney knows what they're doing...

Which musicals are you talking about? At MGM, both Beauty and the Beast and Hunchback went on to inspire full broadway musicals. I'd count that as hitting the mark.

Also I would The Lion King set a pretty good precedent for musical w/ puppets.

I actually meant to say: Musicals don't seem to last that long at WDW.

B&TB is a definite exception. And wasn't the Broadway musical before the park musical?

I got to see the the third and fourth public shows the other day, and it was great! It's a must-see for sure. Get down to DAK to see Finding Nemo-The Musical right away!
