Actually, The Yeti has been mentioned as being both Grey and Brown in most Tibet-esk Myths. You can read about the origins of the Yeti on www.disneyeverest.com , Disney's official site.

Aren't Yeti's supposed to be white? I mean, there'd be no 'was I seeing things?' if I saw one of those walking around a mountain.

Come on man, you think Disney's going to have Yeti stories about Yetis that don't look like the one in a ride they just spent about $100M on?

Err actually your wrong. Thats just disney making up for being so stupid and lieing saying that they are really right. But there wrong. Yetis are white, Bigfoot is brown. How many brown animals live in the snow? Not many. All the mammalian animals that live in the snow have white fur simple logic.

k_peek, not meaning to sound know-it-all or anything, but on what is this statement based? Space Mt had something to back it up, albeit disney related, but other searches will yield the same results...try looking it up.

perhaps the Abominable Snowman and the Yeti should have a battle! Of course Abo would win, since he has a brother in the mountain.

BTW, what is Abo's name? I can't remember but I think it was like Hank or Harvey or something with an H. I dunno, I think i read it in Mouse Tales. Anyone know?
