I didn't look if there was already a topic on this... but this ride looks pretty sweet. I'd gladly take this over Matterhorn ANT DAY. =]

-Everest Video 1 shows more effects
-Everest Video 2 shows a better onride POV during rollercoaster part

I'll never understand why people compare the two, considering they were built like 4 1/2 decades apart.

EDIT: Just watched the videos. Looks like a decent roller coaster, but I didn't think the effects were worth all the hype. That's just judging by the video though.

ya, that ride looked really good. its no matterhorn, but it could sure make DCA a lot more exciting. I would rather have the imagineers create a whole nother attraction though.

^ How would a ride that's set in Nepal, fit into a California themed park?

Anyway--I don't wanta watch the POV, as I dont wanna spoil the ride. I watched the R...DCT video before I actually saw the show, and it kinda spoiled the suprises.

Yeah, I'm glad I saw RDCT in person first. It really made it all the more magical. I always have so much trouble fighting the temptation to watch these videos.

there are sightings of bigfoot in california. im sure they can make that work if they were to put that in DCA.

^Lol...yea. But you forgot one minor detail--Mt. Everest isn't in California.

I know, I know! All they have to do is change the mountain! Regardless, there is 0 chance that this thing will be duplicated in DCA...IMO. It'd take up all of the Timon Lot!

Sorry,

Jahan

You guys don't see Expedition: Shasta in DCA's future?

I dunno... in that one part where the Yeti pulls up the track, it looks like he jumps right on your train!

Looked like a shadow projection to me. I guess it hard to tell from the video what everything is.

I was thinking more of an Expedition Saddleback or Expedition Mt Whitney.
