YOu guys realize that this has been on the drawing boards since the 70s when EPCOT was being planned? The original concept was a Matterhorn style ride around Mt Fuji. That never materialized because of funding. But talk has gone on for a long time about this. They then moved to the boat ride kind of show building, but that got stopped too.

All that said, I hope they do some kind of thrill/educational experience. World Showcase needs some more E-ticket kind of things. Circlevision is cool, but it was done to death there.

They would be crazy to pass this up and approve MK's Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor. Unless they didn't have enough room.

There is plenty of room at each countries pavilion for expansion.

There is plenty of room for expansion all over Epcot. That place is huge! They could easily fit an attraction like this into Epcot. However, considering the age of this concept, I doubt it will happen. Cool idea though.

According to credible sources, this project is still on the burner and has been receiving more attention lately. Disney wants to go ahead with this project, though not in its original form, but money and sponsorships remains an issue.

That would be exciting. I guess we will have to "wait-n-see"

you could incorporate some of the history and set up a story in the line. Sort of like Everest. Then the auctual ride could be a thrill.

I entered the imagineering contest for 2007 and submitted a cool roller coaster, it was about some scientists that wanted to find out about the existence of dragons, were they real? So they made this time machine called the Time Cube, and off we go, to either England in medieval times or to Japan in feudal times(random experience), just to find out if they existed like the Knights and samurais said so. So you arrive to your random destination, the dragon appeared, screwed the time cube up, so an escape pod was generated, being the scape pod, the vehicle for the roller coaster, the dragon followed you through the woods and so on, I have a video for it, if someone could tell me how to upload it I gladly will. This is just a weird coincidence huh? well, at least for me

With another version of the same sort of idea being rumored for Disney's Animal Kingdom, it's clear that quite a few different versions of this idea are being bandied about & they're just looking for the right version. This means the chance some version of this happening is quite high.
