Ohh... I love World Showcase!!

Personally, my favorites are Japan, Germany, and France. China, Morocco, Norway, and the UK are neat. Mexico, Canada, and Italy are OK but not extremely drawing. America is simply a waste.

France is my favorite for atmosphere (I speak French, of course), but I have to go with Japan for best overall. Their gift shop... oh my god, it's awesome! And I love China's for the entertainment. And you can't go wrong with Norway's ride.

I've never been to DW! We're actually planning our first trip in December so this is awesome to get to know some of the good places to go. Sounds like I'll be shopping in "Japan" and skipping the America part. (since I live it everyday, I don't really need to go in).

Trivia: In the movie "Cars", the tow truck introduces himself as "Mater, like Ta-Mater without the Ta". However, in French, the joke did not translate so he introduced himself as "Martin, like Aston Martin without the Aston"

DON'T SKIP ANYTHING! While I agree a lot more could have been done with the pavillion - be sure to not miss the show American Adventure. It is some of Disney creativity and AA at it's best.

Also - try to give yourself a day in the World Showcase. There are so many awesome places - take in the incredible ambiance of Mexico interior. The shops in Norway are great. Watch the trains in Germany. The gardens and waterfall of Canada are amazing. Walk the shops in England. Walk the back streets of Morocco. Explore the Stave Church in Norway. The China and Japan gardens are also extremely well done.

Heck - I think there isn't anything to miss in WS. There may not be a whole lot of rides but there are some awesome shows and great ambiance.

I guess if I had to pick only one country to go to I would choose Norway. There is cool side attractions, awesome food, a fun ride, and very cool shops. I'd say it has it all.

^^ so awesome! thanks for the tips! We're going for 7 days so we should have plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere. Plus my son is only 4 so we can't really go too fast. We have family going with us so they can take him to do rides while we wander if he's not interested.

I would have to go with France. I really like the atmosphere of the place and it just seems pretty quaint and nice. They also probably have some of the best theme park food I have ever experienced in my life, that little bakery place is AMAZING and I think we ate there like 3 times in the 2 days we spent at EPCOT... Just amazing...

To be honest though, I'm more of a Future World guy...

^I know, right? World showcase is amazing, but they're all dates to a degree because if we brought them up to date, then a lot of them would be considerably more like us, and that wouldn't go over well. World Showcase and Innoventions/Future World balance out globalization and modernization without upsetting the guests. It's perfect.
