Those are the same ones used for the other events. the Main launch, and the railroad tracks. The railroad tracks are set up for the events, they arent always there.

So the launchers for around the park are set up on the tracks when it's closed?

An hour before the show goes off the wire and launchers are set up. The reason they use the track is because at the back of the park its makes almost a half circle giving them a perfect line to use to create either the 180 or 360 perimeter firing.

If I am not mistaken, there is only one bunker that is located directly on the tracks. It is essentially a flat bed railroad car with launchers.

Smile Locations for comets

Hi, Sorry to bump a REALLY old topic but I cant resist

Um I just wanted to know where they launch the big comets in wishes and Remember...dreams come true, the ones that are suppose to be shooting stars.
I'm pretty sure there not lunched from the roof tops of the buildings but I think there further back?

and another question...Where are them Flame cannons located for the Indy section of remember..At Disneyland?

Thanks.

Let's see. The shooting stars in WDW are shot from the launchers next to the castle. And those launchers are on top of roofs of some of the attractions in Fantasyland.

For Remember in Disneyland, the shooting stars are shot from the back of the park near the main pyro launchers. And the flames for the Indy section are shot next to the castle. And the flame cannons are on the tops of the roofs of some of the Fantasyland attractions.

Hope this helps!

The Comets for remember are shot from two towers. There is on on the south end of the parade warehouse, and one over by the compressor plant across from the roundhouse.

The ones for WDW ARE fired from the rooftops. The last bunker on each end. Comets are constantly burning shells, they never explode, so they are safe to shoot over guests heads i.e opening shot in ROE.

The icopar flames projectors are shot from 3 devices per side on the Fantasyland roofs, from a company called Groupe F Pyrotechnie in Paris, France.

Now DLR has many sites.

They have the Main Site aka Black Forest, the Nine Line, the matterhorn bunker, the hub bunkers (4 per side), one bunker on the castle, and 5 bunkers per side on the FL rooftops.

In back of house they fire from 12 locations, including the nine line bunkers and the main site bunkers. Plus the two towers for the comets. Scissor lifts are required to reach some of the nine line bunkers, as a couple are on towers, and not on the N-19 Building (Entertainment Center) rooftop, which a few are.
