Default WDW vs. DLR

Here it is...The age old question. Which do you prefer, The Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, or the Disneyland Resort in California?

Go WDW!!!

A couple of reasons why Disneyland is better, not only is it the "Original" Disney Park, but it has the Indiana Jones "Ride" not the show, and Disneyland has Corn Dogs!!!!!

Disneyland Resort is the original Disney park. It has attractions that I love that other Disney parks doesn't have. Also, more importantly, I feel more magic towards this resort than any other resort without having to be there. I grew up with Disneyland Resort, so it has my vote.

Sincerely, a brother of a half-demon,

Same thing, Disneyland's the Original Park, I think that WDW is to much of an "amusment" park.
Disneyland just has a certain feeling you can only get there!

Disneyland Resort Is The Original And The Best. I Mean, WDW Is Cool, But The Original Always Wins

Well, I've never been to WDW... And I'm sure some of you can say the same, or vice versa... *Nods to Topic creator's DLR visit count in sig*

I must say, though, I find much to appreciate with Disneyland, as it is THE original park, and the only one Walt Disney really built and stepped foot in, and considered home and playground for his daughters to play in. But until I step into Magic Kingdom, I wont blindly say DLR is better and WDW stinks - I'm just saying what I appreciate about Disneyland.

Disneyland, Simple! Why? Well Walt Walked There, Planned It, and we have some rides that MK doesn't....

We are just emotionally attached to Disneyland Resort because of the reason Walt Disney built and planned it. It's a place where we "leave the world of today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy" and actually feel it.

Tough, tough question. It's hard for me because, sometimes i will prefer DLR and other times I will prefer WDW. But I guess I will have to pick WDW. My reasoning is that I pretty much grew up going to that park. I went there 12 times before going to DLR. And I live in the midwest so 12 times was quite a lot. Also, the Polynesian has always been my home away from home. So, I guess I'm pretty much attached to Walt Disney World.

Apples and oranges. Don't get me started on this, I've been having this debate for three years, and I have too much to say on the matter.

I don't think I have a preference really, because they both are amazing parks just full of magic and, while they do have a few of the same attractions and such, they are really two very different places that I think is almost unfair to give people a choice of which they like better

I've heard that people don't really feel the magic in Walt Disney World Resort. I'm not sure, though.

Walt Disney World and Disneyland have their differences and similarities. They are very different, therefore unfair to compare them and say which is better.
