I can picture it, but it seems a little weird..

It's a wonder those huge floats could fit through there.

I do not. The new route is what they use today. The old route started at the backstage gate near towntown right behind teacups and went down around teacups past pooh over the fantasyland bridge around the hub to the right and exited next to firehouse.

It may have worked. It still would have been pretty tight if it did, though.

So old parades went between the Tea Cups and Pooh?

You have to remember there are hitched units that have to make those turns. Going around tea cups and up that way, there would have been no room. Chernabog would have had to been cut due to height, same with carousel. Mickey would have had to been cut because of height and we all know they would never removed that unit. plus some of the spectro units are wider than day parade, so they would have never been able to fit width wise back there.

Yes already been mentioned. They units were shipped there about a year and half ago. They are sitting in crates in their warehouse, waiting.

HAHAH those floats would never fit WDWs route nor would half of them be able to make the turns, most especially Hub to Liberty Square, and Liberty Square to Frontierland.
