In this pic you can see the wheel locations. The front wheel on the left side is where the starfish is, the back wheel is under the hump behind the purple coral area.

If you listen closely at the end of this video you can hear the aforementioned squeaking/clanking.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lr9AH...elated&search=

And it seems the noise only happens when its turning.

I have just noticed what the "Rolling Stage" float is. It was also used in Totally Minnie as that band float with the Monkeys and Big Bad Wolf (?). I also believed that the float that Chip n' Dale float during the same unit of that parade was the Peter Pan pirate ship in the MSEP? Then again, I have no idea. I just used to think that.

you guys are confusing a couple of things. The Rolling Stage was a WDW float. This thread is in the WDW Magic Kingdom section. I think we got on a tangent when comparing to DLR floats.

The rolling stage is not one most of you have seen if you've never been to WDW and I think it was taken apart about 10 years ago.

I know that this is an extremely old thread, but one thing's for sure: the old Mary Poppins float from Fantasy on Parade at DL was brought to WDW and is now today's Santa Sleigh float in the Once Upon A Christmastime Parade.

Also, the float from the Star Wars Motorcade that appeared in WDW quite recently - is that from another parade?

Actually, no, it's not - it couldn't be because all of those floats are like real cars. I'm talking about the one at the very beginning with Jedi Mickey, Minnie Leia, Darth Goofy, and Stormtrooper Donald.
Also: I think that I'm right here - the S.S. Disney that has just been retired from the VMCP was once used in the Character Hit Parade and was once known as S.S. Mickey Mouse.

That Star Wars float you were talking about is just a events float. It was used in the 2007 Christmas day parade and had the jonas brothers on it. The base is the same design as the DLR Ratatouille Pre Parade float.

Yes. That is correct. I have also finally found where the Beauty and the Beast float came from at the Remember the Magic Parade. This was originally in the Very Merry Christmas Parade at Disneyland until 1994 when they converted to all Christmas-type units instead of various movie units followed by a Christmas unit.

Are you talking about POD beauty and the beast or something else? because according to my knowledge in Parade Support the Beauty and the Beast float, the Pinocchio float, Ariel Float, and Lion King float all came from Hercules parade.

Hes talking about a Parade at Walt Disney World. The Very Merry Christmas Parade at Disneyland ran in the 80s. They had a Beauty and the Beast unit that was in it, that was shipped to WDW for the Remember the Magic Parade for the 25th.
