Default Indy ride for WDW?

Okay, Now I think The Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland is a great attraction. Now I was wondering if they are going to add anything to WDW that has to do with Indiana Jones Adventure?

P.S. I looked around and couldn't find anything on this.

They already have an EMV type attraction called DINOSAUR at Animal Kingdom, so it would be unwise to add Indy at WDW.

^^ All true

I did hear a few years ago there was talk to change the Indiana Jones Stunt Show into some type of Indiana Jones ride, but I think any plans of those were scratched out.

it'd be nice... but at the same time I think some things should remain only at one park... just to give them some variety... if they're just all carbon copies of each other, what's the point of trying to get people to visit both?

I think Indiana Jones Adventure ride is one of those incredible rides that is best to remain exclusive to one park, Disneyland.

I think they have enough IJA themes at WDW. You dont want to have the same ride at WDW; there would be no variety between the two parks.

My idea isn't the same. Plus DINO stinks.

Indiana Jones is also included as part of the Great Movie Ride if I am not mistaken so they would have to revamp that just to make a seperate Indy attraction so I doubt it would happen

Theres the roller coaster Indiana Jones attraction at DLP that could be copied or reworked for WDW. The way I remember it it was reminiscent of Temple of Doom with the vehicles resembling mine cars. It was all outside too but other than that I cant remember much about it. Afterall it's been 10 years since I was there. lol

You're talking about Indiana Jones & The Temple of Peril which I thought was the most underwhelming Indiana Jones attraction of them all, stunt show included. Now I'm basing that on its clone @ DisneySea 'Raging Spirits' which was fun & all but not on the level of the Indiana Jones Adventures: Temple of the Forbidden Eye & Temple of the Crystal Skull.

Right now, that Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular works pretty well for where it's at. MGM Studios does a nice job of conveying its motif of being a fantastical Hollywood of yesteryear with productions in work on every corner, and the live Stunt Spectacular fits in nicely with that.

Where would an Indiana Jones Adventure fit? Epcot? Doubtful. The only country in World Showcase that Indy visited was Italy, and that was a boat issue. You could make an Indy-themed boat ride, but it would way too scene-specific. Certainly doesn't fit in Future World.

Magic Kingdom? Maybe Adventureland, but with the Aladdin carpets, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Tiki Room...Adventureland's pretty crowded already. Plus they're trying to market up Pirates all they can already, and Pirates is in Adventureland there.

Animal Kingdom? Well Indy used his share of animals no doubt. Elephants, snakes, bugs, and even the giant vampire bat...but animals were never a central focus in Indy's stories. Maybe there's a sacred animal we could search for with Indy, but that'd be far closer to Ace Ventura than Indy. (Ace Ventura attraction anyone?)

So that leaves MGM Studios, and a live audience-interactive show is the way to go there.

So what if Dinosaur's already in Animal Kingdom? How many re-themed clones of Dumbo are out there in the world? Should we only have 1 roller coaster per park? Trust me, ride types are only considered up to a point. Bottom line is, you go with what works. Right now, the Stunt Spectacular is what works.
