Talking I'm going to MK tomorrow!

Hey guys,

Sorry I haven't posted here in a while.

I'm going to The Magic Kingdom tomorrow with a good friend of mine! We're going to try to do each ride at least once and then give it a rating out of 10.

I will post our results tomorrow night or the next day!

This is gonna be AWESOME. I haven't been to MK in several years and I need to refresh my memory of what it was like.

HAUNTED MANSION ROCKS!!

Have fun! I'm partial to giving rides ratings myself, but my system is out of 5. My two five star attractions at MK are Splash Mountain and Pirates of the Carribean!

I love Splash Mountain. I can't wait to ride that again. I'm pretty sure that'll get a 10 from me.

Just got back, here are my ratings:

Haunted Mansion: 10/10, Excellent as usual. It was nice to hear Grim Grinning Ghosts and see the busts again.

Stitch's Great Escape: 6/10, Not bad, not great either. Just okay. Alien Encounter was better both story and SFX wise (although the Stitch AA was good). Good to see at least once.

Carousel of Progress: 8/10, Good for what it is and for it's time.

Splash Mountain: 10/10, Easily the best ride at Disney. I rode it twice.

Space Mountain: 10/10, Amazing... what more is there to say?

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: 10/10, A must ride.

Goofy's Barnstormer: 8/10, Good but it was waaaay too short. Only go when there is a 10 minute or less wait.

Buzz Lightyear Spaceranger Spin: 10/10, Always been a favorite of mine.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority: 10/10, GREAT if you need a rest on a hot day. Hardly any line. Go anytime.

POTC: 9/10, Good, I like the new additions.

That's it!

I gotta agree the TTA isnt much but its perfect if you need to just rest your feet and sit down for a few and catch your breath. Always wondered if it was even possible to do much more with it.

TTA was actually always a favorite of mine. I remember several years ago when I rode it 9 times in a row. Its so nice to have that on a hot spring day...

I could swear that The Haunted Mansion was closed until September 12th or something like that. But if you got a chance to ride it, i'll just have to take your word for it and hope that it will be just as good when I ride it during fall break.

I have never once set foot in the mansion but during fall break I will finally get the chance to do so!

It is also a good ride to do if you have a Fastpass for Space Mountain or Buzz Lightyear and have a little time to kill. Another good attraction to do while waiting for a Fastpass is Carousel of Progress.
