I have a 2002 Nikon Coolpix 885. It makes nice snapshots, but I'm wishing I had something better to play at some REALLY nice - uh - snapshots. I'm hoping it hangs in there with me until I a) decide what I want and b) have the money to buy something new. 10x optical zoom, and I already know I need a wider range than I have now. Tried to get a person in the shot with the Screamin' Mickey and couldn't quite manage it.

I've got a Canon PowerShot A80, 4.0 mega pixels with 3X zoom. It's a nice camera and it does what I need it to do (which is take pictures and an occasional video). My only gripe is that it has a SLOW reaction time, so it's impossible to get good shots like in parades, when the object I'm shooting is moving. My camera has SO many features that I don't even know how to use, so maybe it's better than I think it is...

Just bought a Rebel XT. Still learning all its features. I got tired of not getting good motorsports pictures with my old Olympus digital camera.
I can't wait to bring it to Disneyland, IRL race at Sonoma and the San Jose Grand Prix!!

I have a Kodak Easyshare Z740. It has good image quality & a lot of features. I really love the 10x optical zoom. The only gripe I have is that it sometimes takes a while to focus. I'm planning to buy a wide-angle lens & a telephoto lens soon for it soon.

i have a Canon Powershot SD 450. Just upgraded from an old 2002 Samsung Digimax 2.0 Megapixel camera. It's really slim, and can take extremely clear photos (a lot better than my old camera!!). My only complaint is that I can't adjust the shutter speed... but otherwise, it's totally awesome!

Well, today I just bought a Kodak Easy Share C530 5 MP camera. It's tiny, but it sure takes some great pictures. I can't wait to use it at Disneyland next time I go! YEAH!

I just upgraded my camera from a 256 MB to a 2 Gig. I can now take up to 756 photos on high quality, or about an hour and a half in movies.

Default Nikon is awesome!

I have the Nikon D50 for stills, and the Sony DCR-HC96 for video.

I am very happy with both, it's really nice to have gear that just works without trouble...

Especially with the Nikon. It's almost impossible to take a bad shot on Auto, and the other presets are just great as well. It's also very cool to be able to push the button and actually get a picture right away, rather than wait forever like with regular point and shoot cameras!

:)

Just last night I purchased the Sony DSC-H5. It is worlds above my old camera. I'm not too sure about the pros and cons of it yet, but ask me again after the Scavenger Hunt! :)
