Default Firewire Port

Ok I got the port for those of you that know what I had to buy and all. Now how or where do I plug it in. Both of the 2 cd's they gave me open up files nothing to do with installing. The directions say to plug it into some port I never even heard of. If this helps here is a photo of it and a link of what it does and such.

I'll be bringing the videos I took so far which is basicly Universal Studios Orlando stuff soon. The feb. 10 was with my JVC which kinda wasn't that great. It had a recall or so the lady said with the nightvision which messed up my Mardi Gras parade at the beginning some like 5 maybe 10 seconds my new panasonic works great. Which should be the feb. 20 around that area movies. Bringing them soon. Be on the look out. Once again thanks everyone who helped me you guys are great.
