I am sooooo happy these guys are back. I am a huge Andreas Deja fan and am practically salavating at the thought of seeing more of his work. My only question is this: what happended to Glenn Keane? If I recall correctly, he did some pretty amazing work himself what with Aladdin and such. If I were Lassater, I would have hired him in a second. Maybe this is a good sign for the times to come.

This is going to be much better than I imagined, but... I still fear for NoS... it's just a little pit in the back of my stomach wondering what they'll try to pull there.

They're probably going to make NoS the main place for Tiana's meet-n-greet, and maybe this'll help it get a nice refurb to look like it does in the movie, all sparked up and shiny.

That would make my life!

^ agreed! I am NOT a fan of Randy Newman!
Do you remember back in the day when Disney would release a new animated musical every three years? By the time I was done watching one, I started counting down to the next! They always did those sneak peeks at what they were working on next too. I miss that! I miss having to wait, letting the anticipation built. It seems like we are getting so overloaded with them now that they aren't taking their time on them. Take the time, make it great!

Every three years? try every summer. It was like clockwork from Mermaid to Atlantis before the tradition died and everything went all pixarish.

oh my GOODNESS this looks so good! Can't wait to see the return to the classic Disney style! YAY!

But Randy Newman, I gotta say, kinda killed the trailer for me. Fail.

I'll bet they have the premiere of the movie at New Orleans Square in Disneyland! I think that would be pretty cool. The movie looks fantastic! Welcome back to classic Disney animation!

Oprah Winfrey hops aboard Disney's 'Frog'
Will voice princess' mother in 'Princess and the Frog'

The Hollywood Reporter
Oprah Winfrey has joined the voice cast of the upcoming Disney animated film The Princess and the Frog. I was thinking before that like Oliver and Company times. There used to be big gaps between the major animated ones.

Wow, this is pretty far on into production to be adding in more voices! What surprises me even more is that I thought Angela Bassett had been cast as Eudora. Guess that was just a rumor. Or maybe they had Angela record dialogue and thought someone else would be better for the part? Oh well, can't really complain when you've got Oprah involved, I suppose.
