I don't think so. I know a report just came out giving McDonald's very poor marks when it came to healthy option on the kids menu:

OK... You just have to laugh when someone says McDonald's has a healthy option menu. Who in their right mind would want to go to McDonald's to eat a healthier option? LOL

ok i understand the whole health food thing but you eat unhealthy at home buying pizza pockets and frying taco shells for dinner! how is that healthy? many say just eating red meet is not healthy and others say that just eating salad is not healthy just watch your calorie in take and you will be fine! eating McDonalds every day is not healthy i understand that but eating every once in a while will not kill you!

Everything is about "image". Remember that. Disney does not want the image of selling junk food only. They want to have a more well rounded, wholesome and healthier image. True people can and do eat junk at home, but that is what they chose to do and continue to choose to do even though they can buy healthier options at the same store they purchased those in. Just because something is there does not mean you should either use, take or eat or what have you.

As someone with a parent who has cut our most 'animal proteins' from his diet, I understand one thing quite clearly: 'Not Healthy' is a relative term. I believe Lewis Black put it best: "It's because they don't know. They've never known. every piece of information I've been given about my health has been changed ten times in my lifetime. They don't know! They continue to act like they know... because there are no general rules of health. everyone's health is completely different from everyone else's. What's good for one of you will kill the person sitting next to you, it goes like that. We're all different; we're all... snowflakes."

I know my junk food diet is not healthy, but as someone this ingrained in it and someone who doesn't entertain notions she'll live past 60 anyway, I simply haven't seen any reason to make major changes. I make my own food when I can (every child should know how to cook by the age of 13, if not before), and people talk about burgers and pizza being unhealthy: yeah, when you make it with poor ingredients. It's like anything else; crap in, crap out.

I am actually truly sad that McDonalds is leaving Disneyland. I really loved them! Now I just wonder what will be put in its place?
Oh well. Life goes on right?

that calls for a lot of remodeling of posters and restaurants in both parks, especially DCA,

Neo doesn't Papa Johns have wheat crust now? O_o

It pretty much ruins the pizza just by trying to take a healthy approach to it, I've tried it before...

Anyway, I was talking to my dad earlier while we were at In-N-Out, and I thought it'd be a cool idea to replace Mickey D's with a Burger Joint like In-N-Out. It's not like they do any advertising or promotions anyway, since Mcdonalds never has their promotions in Disney Parks. Just thought it'd be good to have a double double on Paradise Pier or fresh cut french-fries at the Conestoga Wagon.
