Probably. However, it seems that it's only centered on the explorer's artifacts and its strange phenomenon that the monkey causes to unleash from them. Maybe spirits will be released from the artifacts?

That's what it seems like, the music box he opens has red eyes. Tiki masks shoot spears and poison darts. Some cursed statue makes wind storms in the house. There's a lightning bolt behind the house. There probably will be at least spirits, if not grim grinning ghosts.

Why are the Hong Kong posters in English?

Wouldn't they be released in their Language? Or are these specifically for US Release?

They're either for the U.S. or England. But using some information from the past, many people in foreign countries learn English as a second or third language. Like half the rides in Tokyo Disneyland are in English for example. One Jungle River Cruise option in Hong Kong is an English version of the ride.

Cool Brittish rule

Hong Kong was under Brittish rule for 156 years, and was handed over to China only about 10 years ago. Everyone there speaks English as well as Cantonese.

Just found out that the reason HKDL isn't getting a Pirates attraction is because the Hong Kong government thinks the attraction is bias. The Pirateland was accordingly going to be placed where Toy Story Land is today. Pirateland was unapproved. They suggested Glacier Bay. Glacier Bay was unapproved. They suggested Toy Story Land, approved.

I realyy wish they'll place that Pirates land in Shanghai because it sounds like one of the few Imagineering ideas which isn't cliche (a lot better than Toy Story Land.)

Well he is just pinned and not impaled by them LOL. It is as if it was in the cartoons where they just surround the person and then they get out and and wipe their forehead of the sweat of nearly dying. LOL

I think the car mechanism design for the Mystic Manor is based off of WDW's ToT vehicle ride through.

The British rule of Hong Kong was temporarily usurped by the Japanese during WWII.

Well I've seen some pictures of concept art for Mystic Manor and looks very cool. It has evil tiki masks, an Egyptian mummy, stone heads belching lava, some possesed Greek-like statues, and a really neat ride layout. The Imagineer talking in the video below says the attraction will be tied in with the same Adventurer Society present in Tokyo's Tower of Terror and Lost River Delta.

YouTube - Hong Kong Disneyland's Mystic Manor Revealed

I couldn't really find a video for the Grizzly Mines, but I have seen pictures and it really looks great, kind of like a combination between Big Thunder, Expedition Everest, and Grizzly River Run. It has the runaway mine car theme of Big Thunder, the bear theme of Grizzly Peak, and the whole outdoor portion of Expedition Everest. It has lots of gags featuring grizzly bears from what I've seen and it looks like there will be several nods to the bears seen in the extinct Mine Train Thru Nature's Wonderland, like fishing bears, a bear pleasurably scratching his back up and down (This time on a wooden sign instead of a tree) and swimming bears. There are also several more new gags so keep an eye out for them.
