Disneyland-heading guests should note that Disney Way at the Harbor Boulevard entrance is being periodically closed because of construction. Disney Way used to lead into the entrance of the Timon parking lot, which was closed in July for the construction of Cars Land at Disney’s California Adventure.

The roadway still winds around the theme park so that drivers can access Disneyland Drive and other parking lots. However, that roadway also is being closed periodically at Harbor Boulevard because of the theme park expansion, said David Gill, a Disneyland Resort spokesman.

I don't get why they just didn't close it completely down. Or at least till the construction is over.

I will miss the Timon parking lot. I loved that one

I agree they should just close it down. Why make it more confusing than it has to be?

Just use the entrance off Ball road, it makes everything easier =D

Going through the entrance gate close to the Tower of Terror makes you wrap around all of DCA just to get to Disneyland Drive on the backside, then you have to make a U-Turn to get to Mickey and Friends. If you just get off onto Ball Road and make the second left past the TDA building, it's much easier!

After looking at a very recent aerial pic from a fly-by, I am just wondering why they don't permanently close down that road. It looks pretty useless. All it does is run pretty much parallel to Katella. I mean, why not let the people drive the 1 whole block down Harbor to Katella and the make a right to go to Disney Way? It is the same thing. Now that road is wasting space they could have used for more space in the new expansion as well as for backstage purposes.

Welcome to the new normal folks. This'll be how parking goes until Pumbaa becomes a new parking garage and/or Cars Land is finished.

All I can say is, expect the unexpected, and learn where ALL Disneyland overflow lots are quickly.
