The Walt Disney Company is the second largest media & entertainment corporation in the world, after Time Warner , so that makes The Walt Disney Company bigger than Universal ;D

I think Disney's bigger, too. Seriously, they've made tons of movies, own several TV stations, have 5 huge, advanced theme park resorts...Universal's got nuthin' on Disney.

Keep in mind Universal's owned by NBC as opposed to Disney who owns ABC/ESPN...

Disney is much bigger. Think of not only the theme parks, channels, and movies.... but you have to put into account all the merchandise that Disney sells. From Princess things to Pirates things. There are countless things that Disney sells. You could walk into a Wal-Mart and find something Disney every other aisle. Heck i just bought some baby carrots the other day that had Mator on them. They were apparently from "Disney Garden". Bring that Universal.

"NBC Universal" is 80% owned by GE, and the G in GE stands for Ginormous.

Taken seperately, NBC Universal is worth about $30B and Disney is worth about $60-70B. So Disney easily wins on that comparison.

However, there are rumors circulating that GE will spin off NBC Universal and it will merge with Time Warner's media assets (after TW spins off Time Warner Cable) giving the NBC-Universal-Time-Warner merged entity a valuation close to Disney's.
