Default What Disney Movie should become a Broadway/Live Musical?

Like the title says, what D movie should become a musical show?

------------

I personally think Nightmare could do well. It would be great to see the stop-motion sets and puppets translated to a live musical.

I think Alice in Wonderland with a few projections for the talking door and the Cheshire Cat and making it look like Alice shrinking and growing.

What a great question! I totally agree with Nightmare. I can see a lot of challenges for costume and design, but that would make it that much better. You know the Disney peeps would come through with some awesome ideas.

Oh, yeah, I thought that it could go great at a park like DCA, but that would mean having to tear down Aladdin, but still, I'm forming the idea in my head. Or they could do it at FYL theater.

I second the idea of The Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland, and Fantasia. I think that Beauty and the Beast would make a great huge production.

I think that's been done before... But I think it closed, so a revival could make the fans ecstatic.

Personally I'd like to see Aida, as a movie or revieved, but on the other hand maybe Newsies, Mulan, Hunchback, The Emperor's New Groove, Peter Pan, and Enchanted.

I also say Nightmare Before Christmas. I might put a plot summary up if I go through with it.

I think Up will be a pretty good show. It has potential. The same goes for Pocahontas.
