Red face Wizards in Winter Christmas Show

Yes yes, Its not christmas yet, but by the time I finish this it will be. I'll update probably about once a month, or maybe every few weeks.

I tried making a Wizards in Winter show a while ago, on my old PC, and that didn't work, but now that I have a new (well 8 months old but much faster) PC, I can create synchronized shows, and I like making these better than rides, but again, my old computer wouldn't let me sync up stuff easily. So at a certain point in the time line, it would be the first beat, then when played again, the beat would be way off. Very strange, so I wiped the computer, and its having lots more problems, but thank goodness my dual core gateway, with awesome graphics card was under the Christmas tree.

Anyways, here is a quick preview of what it will be like, you'll notice lots of cool fireworks. It almost looks like a custom made some to flow with the song, but I didn't. Kinda cool how things work out like that. I got most of them off of VPyro, or vitrual pyro (formerly rctpyro) and I've got something like 1,100 fireworks. You make think thats cool, but it takes a long time to find one particular thing your looking for.
But never fear, this show will use the most advanced fireworks possibly, including some custom mortar launchers. Conrails' and someone else's forgot the name..

I also have included a sneak peek of something I will release sometime this summer.

CLICKY CLICKY!!

^Click their for the video, its vimeo, so its pretty good quality. It'd be in HD but RCT3 doesn't have HD darn it!

Keep in mind this is a teaser/trailer so the angle of the shot is a bit weird so some things remain secretive.

^Thanks!

Alright, now for the first photo update!

So I spent some time having lasers, go off, that lasted about 1/2 a second. They traveled clockwise around the entire square. Then I thought, crap I hope this records. So i recorded it, and it only picked up two or three of the lasers But it played fine in game, and it looked great, but I'm gonna have to scrap it.

You can see how small they were! ( the orange stuff to the right)

and now for some general pictures of the show.

I'm pretty close to being finished too, The song is 3 minutes long, and I'm up to a minute and 10 seconds, I'll go back and add a few things, but I do know that the last two minutes will be the most difficult. More updates coming soon!

hmm.. those mountains sure look familiar...

This looks so awesomely fabulous! You should work for Imagineering and say that you know how to make really good firework shows. I'm sure they'd hire you right then!

From the looks of the photos, it looks like a good show. Real good job.

Oh I wish, but they won't do that. Making firework shows in RCT3 is pretty different then it is in real life. Well, actually RCT3 shares the same basic principals as Virtual fireworks programs use, but that's just creating the show, not doing all the other stuff. Besides im not much of a pyro maniac. I want to do film when i graduate in 09'
