Default Tomb Raider Adventure Flume

I have an idea for a Tomb Raider attraction. A flume attraction.

The actual name I want to give it is "Tomb Raider: Legend of the Flooded Temple". By the way any similarities between my ideas and IJA is completely coincidental.

Okay as the title suggests, this is a wet and wild flume ride. The story takes place in the 40's (or when ever the games and movies are set) and centers around a lost Aztec temple known as "La Iglesia del Rio" translation, "The Temple(church) of the River." The legend of the temple states that if anyone enters with the intention of taking the treasure, artifacts or anything else within its walls, will suffer a watery grave. Only a few have returned to atest to this fact. The survivors claim that the river that flows through the temple becomes violent and floods with the intention of discarding any wrong doers.

Excited by the find, Laura Croft has invited you, her new team of archiologists (the riders) to help her discover this rare find. While standing in the queue, people can see the temple as logs are taking the last plunge, weaving in and out of the temple, and many erupting gysers and water falls.

Once boarded, our logs will calmly head toward the temple entrance which is at the top of a huge lift hill. Once the lift hill reaches its peak, inside the temple, we flatten out to see Croft. "You made it. Easy does it, the treasure is on the right," she says. As our log makes the right, we see a huge gord of gold illuminated by yellow light. Suddenly all lights go out and we make a sharp right U-turn as the water under our log is getting rough. We drop down our first small hill. We level out to see a gaping hole in the temple wall. On the other side of it is a waterfall. It's wet but a way out. As we get closer to it though, two huge rock doors slowly close the hole.

Another sharp right and another drop, gysers are exploding everwhere around you in the temple. We are out for a moment but right back in we go. Water falls are filling the temples' massive caverns. All the while our logs are falling down hills and hitting rough rapids splashing everything in sight.

Then we finally level out at the base of a gignatic lift hill. As we go up we hear Laura saying "there you are! Up here" We climb and climb and towards the top we see Laura and three doors. The two on either side of us is open and letting floods and floods of water in. The one in the center however is barely being closed by Laura giving us a clear path out. "Come along, this is the only way out.

Once at the top, out we go. AHHHHHHHH. SPLASH!!

And back into the loading/unloading station we go.

You should try to make the track layout on RCT or NoLimits for this...it would look pretty cool I think

I sadly don't have any of those or a functioning computer at home. I have to rely on the school computer for my VF browsing

This sounds like a lot of fun! Great idea! I was thinking,"if Indy and splash mountain had a baby, it would be this."

Ha! lol! thank you mermaid hair thats very kind of you

A couple days ago I actually thought up some other stuff I would like to put into the attraction. For example I thought it would be cool if at some point there was a truck in the attraction. This truck would have headlights on and the motor running. It would be like another escape plan for us to get out of the temple. But as our log nears it, a torrent of water nearly tips it sideways onto us! As the lights and motor clonk out, we almost get crushed!

I also thought it cool to have large falling rocks and stuff. Like at one point a huge vertical rock, being "pushed" from behind by flooding amounts of water, almost pilverizing our logs.

I love Tomb Raider alot, and a theme park should think of a way to make it a ride!
